NAME

lcfg-amd - LCFG amd component

DESCRIPTION

This object starts the amd automounter.

conftmpl

The template amd.conf file, defaults to /usr/lib/lcfg/conf/amd/templates/amd.conf.tmpl.

conffile

The generated amd.conf file, defaults to /var/lcfg/conf/amd/amd.conf.

stdoutfile

The file in which to capture stdout, defaults to /var/lcfg/conf/amd/amd.stdout

binary

The executable file for the amd daemon, defaults to /usr/sbin/amd

assumekernel

Allows the setting of the environment variable LD_ASSUME_KERNEL before the daemon is started. Defaults to empty.

gvariables

A list of tags each defining a global variable in the amd.conf file.

gvar_tag

The global variable entry associated with the tag tag.

maplist

A list of amd map tags.

path_tag

The filesystem path for the amd map associated with tag.

name_tag

The amd map name for the amd map associated with tag.

type_tag

The type of map (eg hesiod, file) for the map tag.

variables_tag

A list of variables associated with the map tag

var_tag_tag2

The variable entry associated with the map tag and the tag tag2

mountoptions

The value required for the AMD_MOUNT_OPTS environment variable - used in various hesiod maps. Optional, and probably Edinburgh specific.
