- tidy up status/error reporting
- support user_$service for start()
-  Might be good to either moan about or remove duplicate services
-  run should warn/fail if trying to run an non-lcfg component
- would be nice to modularize such that can be used on other 
  than redhat - in particular, the post install script to add
  boot to /etc/inittab is rather hacky.
- services_level variable shouldn't include those components which 
  have failed to start
